I'm the One Lucky Pup

I have been going on and on about needing a little pampering and my wish came true on Saturday. My people parents took me to One Lucky Pup and treated me to the most relaxing day imaginable.
Kristy, the amazing groomer, combed out all my extra fluff (wow!) and then gave me a nice nail trim. As if I didn't feel like a new woman already, I also enjoyed a body massage and an oatmeal skin treatment. When I was ready to go home, Kristy put these cute little hair bows in my hair and my family almost fainted at the site of my beauty! I don't mean to brag, but I really do look great!!! Thanks One Lucky Pup!

Chill'n @ The Tavern at JR Crickets

I was hanging out under the kids bed, just trying to keep it cool and I overheard Bluey the cat say to Barnaby the bear, "Did you ever have one of those days where you wish you didn't wake up Barnes Ol Boy?" Barnaby looked at her in a strange way, hence the photo, and said, "Blue, you just need to chill... Go have some ribs and some cold beer at The Tavern at J.R. Crickets and you'll be good to go." Bluey looked at him wryly and shook her head... "I may be cool, Barnaby, but I'm a cat. Being stuffed isn't all it's cracked up to be..."

Dear Fluffy,
How can a dog not feel like a queen surrounded by all these beautiful flowers? It's a simple life for us Fluff, but I know those humans like to go all out in the pursuit of beauty. I overheard our people mom talking about Ahlara International in Mooresville, NC. She said it was such a tranquil place offering body massages and wraps, skin care, manicures, waxing and more. A body massage sounds pretty great, but I get those a lot. *Someone* has tried to give me a manicure, but that just isn't happening. So I think I'll leave the salon and spas to the humans... Or you Fluffy, cause I know you love that pampering so much.

Stuffed animals for sale at Critters

Dear Fluffy,
Is it me, or do we look like stuffed animals for sale at Critters - Cards | Stationery | Gifts? Critters is filled to the brim with so much fun stuff including toys for kids, candy and novelty items. We love the chew toys for pets but our absolute favorite thing to do is use the gag gifts on the cat when our parents aren't watching!

The Next "Air Bud" in the making

Dear Fluffy,
Did you know that I have aspirations to be just like the amazing Air Bud? He can play all sorts of sports including basketball and volleyball. I personally am *this close* to becoming a pro at tennis. You should see me on the court!

I asked my good friend from Carolina Courtworks if I could show off my amazing skills on some of the Plexipave or Clay Courts that he builds. He told me he prefers me right here in the grass.

In my opinion, he could at least build me a Synthetic Grass Court for my game because I have heard that it is much easier on the body than other tennis court surfaces.

I will keep you posted on my pursuit.
Until then, please fetch my tennis ball with me!

Getting Wild in Charlotte, NC

I wonder what every one is doing, and if now is the time for my big escape? Oh, I don't want to escape forever, just long enough to flirt with some boys, smell some flowers and completely frazzle my people mom... As a matter of fact, today I lucked out and the fence was unlocked! The neighbors next door just planted some Encore Azaleas from Rountree Plantation and I just had to check them out. Two doors down the neighbor dog just picked up some treats from Wags of Baxter which I just had to try, and then I was on my way to unabashed freedom when I was wooed by my people mom and the heavenly scent of pizza wafting from the house... Maybe next time I'll get a little further...

This is Sparky and I wondering where a couple of gals can go to get the most fabulous hair in town? No more frizz, unruly and misplaced curls... What wouldn't we do for that?
